SHEVAH VAHDATPOUR
http://www.shevahh.blogspot.com/
SHEVAH’S STYLE: My style is always evolving into something else, but, basically, my style is eclectic and vintage inspired.
INSPIRATION: I’m inspired by vintage movies and photos. I love to watch old movies and look at old photos and pick and choose what aspects of the fashion from those that I want to incorporate into my own outfits. Also, I’m a fine arts major at my university so I love to research other artists’ work and draw inspiration from it.
IF YOU COULDN’T BE YOU, WHO WOULD YOU BE: Specifically, I don’t know of anyone but I would want to be a famous actress. I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was young.
WHAT ASPECT OF FASHION APPEALS TO YOU THE MOST? I love the fact that fashion is a way to express yourself without having to really say anything about yourself verbally.
STAPLE ITEMS FOR FALL: Definitely platform boots, a chunky vintage sweater, and dark lipstick.
HOMETOWN GLORY: The style where I live in Florida is usually really boring. People get a little lazy here with fashion and usually just wear flip-flops and jeans with a t-shirt (not that there’s anything wrong with that if you really love wearing that.) Every once in a while, I see someone that I feel is dressed nicely and when that’s the case then I do let it influence me.
HOLIDAY WISH-LIST: Jeffrey Campbell “Fairlane” boots, an acid washed jean jacket, different colored lipsticks, and some art supplies.
